APCO Surge Relief Angle Valves are engineered to rapidly discharge excess pressure during transient events helping protect your system from damaging pressure spikes. These elbow-style angle valves feature a smooth, obstruction-free flow path and a reliable spring-loaded mechanism that opens instantly when system pressure exceeds a pre-set threshold.
Installed on the discharge header downstream of check or pump control valves, SRA valves divert overpressure to a sump or low-pressure return line. The valve automatically closes once pressures stabilize, and its closing speed can be finely adjusted to match system behavior.
